KeithJohnson, Technical Director for Analytics & Mission Solutions withinLockheed Martin’s Information Systems & Global Solutions (IS&GS)business, is responsible for identifying, developing, and driving newtechnologies into customer-focused mission applications. Mr.Johnson leads IS&GS’s investments in big data technologies as well asadvanced analytics capabilities in multi-INT fusion, activity-basedintelligence, and open source intelligence. Prior to joining LockheedMartin, Mr. Johnson was part of a venture capital group focused on technologystartups in the telecommunications industry. Earlier in his career, he wasa nuclear engineer for the U.S. Navy. Mr. Johnson has a Bachelor ofScience degree in chemical engineering from Rice University and masters in engineeringadministration from Virginia Tech.

Keith Johnson, Technical Director for Advanced Analytics at Lockheed Martin, will discuss how recent advances in elastic computing and big data analytics can be leveraged to address the rising volume and diversity of open source information. He will also discuss future challenges to integrate and analyse multi-source information with a particular focus on pedigree and information fusion techniques. This includes examples that highlight how technology merged with new tradecraft can help identify new insights within open source information.
